Obituary of Lawrence William Coan

Lawrence William "King Dad" Coan passed away Wednesday July 5, 2017. Survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann; 4 daughters, Veronica (Lloyd Greunke III) Coan, Dr. Mary (Miles) Skow, Gloria (William Mallia) Coan and Joanna Coan; 3 grandchildren, Shane and Stephanie Greunke and Dominic Mallia; brothers, David (Patti) Coan, and Daniel (Karen Schnaufer) Coan; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was an US Army Green Beret Veteran and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. No prior calling. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 11 AM at St. Louis Church, 64 S. Main St., Pittsford, NY. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Penfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642 in his memory.
