I met Larry at a breakfast joint several years ago and we spent our time talking about politics, life lessons and investments together. Over time I came meet and learn about his wonderful family.
I remember the day he told me about the cancer diagnosis and how shaken up he was, how all who heard were. He faced this battle with courage and dignity....he carried on in the face of it. That is a gift he gave to all who knew him.
He spent his time fighting the best he could, consulting with the experts in their fields and he also worked to get his house in order for the benefit of those he left behind.
All of this he did while carrying on in his usual friendly manner, sharing about his own issues and also showing genuine interest in and respect for those around him.
He was a friend to many. He will be truly missed.
