Obituary of Annalynne Van Der Gaag

Annalynne Van der Gaag (Galofaro) of Penfield passed away March 17, 2012. She grew up on Gerber Parkway in Hamburg, NY. She is the daughter of the late Mary and Sam Galofaro. She is sister to Joel. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael; four daughters, Chelsea, Siera, Tyghan and Mercedes. A beloved wife, mother and friend, Annalynne was a bright light in moments of darkness and comforting arms in times of trouble. She had a sense of humor that left many in delightful stitches and a unique insight into the human soul that people sought for advice. Spirited, spunky, strong, brave, and determined, she was full of animation, energy and courage. An artist, gardener and a cook, she breathed life into graphics, soil and food alike. A selfless individual, she gave everything to those she loved and expected nothing in return. She will be sorely missed and the world will be a darker place without her. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Penfield. Annalynne's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10 AM at Spiritus Christi Church, 121 N. Fitzhugh St., Rochester.
