Oh My. I cannot begin to verbalize (type) the many eloquent things that people have left here in remembrance of Bill. I can only say that I love him, I love his quiet and compassionate, yet straightforward personna, as I knew it. I have loved and prayed for this family always is all ways, such a loss for us, such a great gain for the choirs in Heaven, where someday we will join him and listen, as he will be aour lead singer, as he was a leader here, in a simple yet extraordinary way to anyone who knew him. My love and prayers are with all of his family, as I miss and love, and pray for all of them.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill on a major building expansion of our Sealed Air manufacturing facility between 2006 and 2009.
Bill was a very likeable professional individual to know and to work with. I am greatful for the opportunity to have known him.
My sincerest condolences to his family and close friends.

While Bill's passing is horribly painful for his family and the many communities he touched, how many of us will be able go into the next life having created so much beauty--in both architecture and music--that will outlive us all?

When Bill sang 'Bring Him Home' at a concert of the Gregory Kunde Chorale, many were deeply moved... May he rest in God's peace!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the LaDues. "Keke Bill" is forever in our hearts along with all the years of fond memories and happy times. Gene sends his deepest condolences from FL & DC and regrets he is not here to share your loss. The days of the 'Alpine Minstrels' have passed but Bill's voice & talents now serve in a better place. Our loss is heaven's gain. ~Hryhorenko Family

I played on Bill's most recent CD "Unfrozen Music" w/pianist Bill Dobbins and bassist Phil Flanagan. Bill used to call me and say, "this is the world's greatest drummer calling the world's second greatest drummer." He always looked out for me and my daughter Ella. He was a great friend and a truly nice person. I will miss his presence at all of the jazz performances and concerts around Rochester. Not only jazz, but he supported many different genres and artist's in Rochester. He was a very kind, understanding, and considerate person. He had a huge heart that we will all miss.

During the years that I worked in the LaDue office, we were often treated to Bill coming up the back stairs, throwing open the door and belting out the most beautiful opera songs and show tunes. It was impossible not to stop working and listen and it always made me smile. He loved what he did, and did what he loved very well. We are so saddened to hear the news of his passing. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family. Peace.

TRIBUTE POEM
G. William LaDue
My Friend
Where is the husband
the bed is empty
the bills aren't paid
his coffee cup still in the sink
Where are the drums
they are silent
dark in their case
sticks put away
Where is the dad
his shoulder is absent
no one to lean on
no advice to hear
Where is the drafting board
flat, dark, computer off
no designs in progress
no clients on the phone
Where is the grand dad
there are stories to read
no horsey ride on his knee
no whispered lullabies
Where is the Crooner
the CD player is silent
the practice space dark
no sweet sound of jazz
Where is the friend
we were to have lunch
there are still stories to tell
no more strength for the journey
Where is Bill?
Bring Him Home a favored song
A Les Mis Masterpiece fulfilled
He is home

Anyone who knew Bill liked him. Anyone who knew him well loved him. Bill was a multifaceted individual. A perfectionist in design. He designed the addition on our house and wouldn't take a dime for his efforts. A perfectionist in performance. Once I had the opportunity to perform with him at the bat mitzvah of our friend Lauren Rosenberg. We sang Do You Love Me from Fiddler on the roof. His Tevye was warm and wonderful to my Golde. I also had the great pleasure of directing Bill in several stage productions. My favorite of course is having him sing "Bring Him Home" a solo figure on a dark stage for Penfield Theatre Guild. Bill was also my Mr. Andrews the architect in Titanic the Musical ten years ago this summer. Bill was the first person to arrive at my house the evening that my mother died. His warmth, gentleness and quiet spirituality was of great comfort. His quiet confidence and dry sense of humor created an image of mystery around Bill. His love of music only surpassed by his love of family who he talked about often with a tender smile on his face. Marge. . . no one can feel your loss. . . but we do feel a great loos of our dear friend. God Bless You and your beautiful family.

We were very saddened to hear of Bill's passing. We shared some great times and have great memories from BTG, Pittsford Musicals, and Penfield Theatre Guild. But the most touching moment for us was when Bill sang at my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. Bill's love and passion for the arts and his friends and family will always be remembered. May these memories sustain you and bring you comfort in the days to come. With love, The Rosenbergs

As a client, we found Bill to be an artist, never content, but always searching for a better vision. The result was a delight in both form and function.
More Importantly, he was a great guy to be around. His enthusiasm was contagious, whether about music, buildings or life. We were fortunate to have been a small part of his universe.

There were so many great memories. Things we did together and dreams of things we wanted to do but just never got to them. He was the kindest and most thoughtful person I ever knew and though we were together allot over the years, I now know it wasn't enough. It is an honor and privilege being his friend and I will miss him so much.
