Verna and Tony were such good friends for about 60 years! Starting in Nursing School, marriage, babies and you all growing up. We have so many happy memories and it is hard to believe they are both gone. Both of them were very special people and we shall continue to cherish our friendship

Dear Jim, Kristina & Anthony,
I hope you know how sorry I am to learn of your dear Mother and Grandmother's passing. Words cannot convey the loss I know you are feeling. However, she has gone to Heaven to be with her dear Husband and to share with him the pride and joy of watching you marry and having Anthony. May you find peace and happiness knowing she is in God's loving embrace and will watch over you for all the days to come. You are ever present in my thoughts and prayers. My sincerest condolensces, Carol Gamble

Don, Steve, Jim and John, I am sincerely sorry for your loss. Verna was a very important person in my life and I will greatly miss her. She was a real sport and was always up for anything. Verna was kind, supportive and caring. She was the first person to give up her bed when guests visited her place. As my parents always said, she would be happy sleeping on an ironing board if it meant making someone else feel at home. I will always remember her wonderful apple pies and chocolate cheesecakes. I have too many wonderful cottage memories to share but I will always remember Verna having her morning coffee on the back deck looking out over her beloved bay. Lori

Verna (and Tony) have been like second parents to me and many others whom they readily accepted into their home, cottage, refrigerator, and of course their hearts. Their door was always open to visit, whether the son you came to see was around or not. Verna would offer a Coke in the kitchen and ask about my day, my activities, my ambitions, just as my own parents did. They provided a great example of generous, caring, compassionate parenting that I hope has shone through in some ways in the raising of my own family. Steve, Don, Jim, and John, I share your loss as I loved her too.

Dear Mom,
A life of memories, moments and love has made me so deeply sad to loase my mother, friend and family matriarch.
I miss you and love you with all my heart. Your memory will never die and lives in my heart and mind each day. I carry you with me in all that I do and experience.
I will remember your final wink during the last day your eyes were open when we looked upon the picture of Anthony.
Tell Dad we love him and miss him.
I love you always.
As I heard many times we said good bye ... Bye Bye Dear.
