Obituary of Gerald C. Liebel

Gerald C. Liebel of Penfield died September 18, 2009 at age 85. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and John Liebel and brother, James J. Liebel Jerry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy; 6 children, Mary (Robert) Shaddock, John (Dianne), James, Annie, Catherine and Gerald D. Liebel; grandchildren, Jennifer (Daniel) Cooper, Elizabeth (Adam) Cross, Sean, Jessica (JD) Wilkes, Katie, Anna, Mark, Caroline, John and Charlie Shaddock, Max, Shelby and Sophie Liebel; great-grandson, Connor Cross; daughter-in-law, Cindy; many beloved adopted kids and friends. Jerry was a WWII Army veteran who served in many campaigns, including the Battle of the Bulge. He was also a 1966 RDGA winner. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Rd., Tuesday and Wednesday 4-7 PM. Jerry's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Rd., Penfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
