Obituary of Donald E Luke

Donald E. Luke Sr. of Penfield NY died Saturday January 17th 2009. Predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Edna Luke; and brothers, Robert and Roy Luke. Don is survived by his wife of 52 years, Diane; four children, Debbie (john) Crosby, Donald Jr., Denise (Gordon) Davidson and David (Gina); seven grandchildren, Kyle, Hayley, Cody, Cydney, Connor, Madeline and David Jr.; also survived by members of the Alexander and Dwyer Families. Don was a kind and thoughtful man. An Air Force Veteran of the Korean War where he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was a member of the Penfield Fire Company, a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company and a bus driver for the Penfield School District. Don's family wishes to express special thanks to the caring staff of Shepherd Home. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road Penfield , Tuesday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Don's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00am at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
