We are so sorry but know that Val is directing some project that God had ready for her.
She is happier than she has ever been even though she felt that her life was 'heaven on earth' with her wonderful family that she took care of for years.
I have such great memories of all of you, though our lives took us apart over the years, it is good to have these things to remember.
We are in Fla. so we couldn't be with you.
Love,
Anne

Dear Fr. Ed, Marty and family,
Through the years at St. Charles I had the wonderful opportunity to have conversations with your Mom. She not only have a wonderful sense of humor, but she was so proud of her family and also so ready to comfort someone else. I know she was there for me. She was so gracious and invited me to stop by when she was still living in Irondequoit. I've missed seeing her these last years, but I've always had a warm place in my heart for her and all of you.
I hope you find comfort in knowing she is restored and enjoying a wonderful reunion with your Dad in the loving care of our Lord.
May your memories comfort you as she has left a legacy which lives in each one of you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sue

Fr. Ed, we have been sharing your sorrow with your mother's journey these past few years, enjoying seeing her at 11:30 mass singing and enjoying the music and especially your homilies! She would seem to be sleeping until your voice came through the microphone and then she would perk right up. When we have been to Fairport Baptist Home to sing, we have looked for her but this December, we sang in the hallway outside her room knowing that she could hear us but unable to greet us herself. She will be missed, I'm sure but what a great addition to the Heavenly Choir she is!

Did not know Valerie that well but the few times I was in in her company she was so sweet and gentle.
I loved the way she would take her care givers hand with such affection at mass.
I would have liked to have know her earlier in my life.

Dear Ed, Marty, Bob, Kevin and the Palumbos family. Although we didn't spend much time with Valerie, we have fond memories of her smiling face, great sense of humor, and the many stories we heard about her. She was always so proud of her boys and their accomplishments. She graciously welcomed us as friends and we recall an animated conversation when she learned that both of our mothers were born in her birth year. We take great peace in the visual of Val and her beloved Ed now walking arm 'n arm in the gardens of heaven. She will be missed.

We remember Mrs. Palumbos's smiling face at the 11:30 Mass at Assumption. Dave and Nancy would bring her in the wheelchair and park her in the front row. She always had something to say that would make us laugh. We will miss seeing her beautiful smile on Sunday mornings.
