Dear Diane and Family, There are no words to express the sorrow we feel at the loss of Art. Art was an amazing man…honest and true, kind and compassionate, caring and giving to all. Art lived a life filled with love and laughter and his wonderful legacy will live on through you, Diane, his sons, Kevin & Gary and his beautiful granddaughter Sadie. I was very sorry to learn of Art’s passing. He was so valuable to me as a HR colleague and mentor. We even served together on several community HR committees over the years. I discovered early on that he was passionate about politics, golf and, above all, his family. May happy memories bring you comfort at this difficult time, and may he rest peacefully.

Diane. I’m at a loss for words. Art was such an incredible presence to all who knew him. Certainly helped me throughout the years in difficult human resource issues. He always knew the exact thing to do, to say, to mentor. He had such a wealth of knowledge. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Pati

“When I think of Art, I smile. I spoke to Art most times in his driveway as he was returning from his walk and I was picking up Diane to either go to a Rochester General Hospital meeting or off to do an errand truthfully shopping and ice cream, He always had a funny comment for me as well as compassion and concern for my husband and yes, also, for me asking how I was doing. What a darn shame to lose our cousin Art. He was certainly beloved among us all and by all I mean at least a 100 or more of the so-called ‘Little’ Family. He and Lady Diane always brought a giggle, no a laugh, to the party. The sweetest couple on the planet. Art had all the wit of any American humorist, The Mark Twain of the Little /Heald family. He had the sharp quirky tongue of his Mom my Aunt Abbie tempered by his dad’s shy kindness, my Uncle Kenneth. We grew up in a very different world but in spite of his excessive penchant for golf there was always a bit of the farm in him. How we used to joke about those younger days on the Sliter dairy farm with George and Grandpa Little . Art you will be sorely missed. Sleep in peace, Art, candled by heavenly angels. Our deepest sympathies go out to his sister Linda, his sons Kevin and Gary and especially his dear dear wife, our friend Diane, Joseph and Carolyn Borlo
