Jon Kent Campbell

8-2-1936 – 11-11-2023

Kent passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Harold and Peg Campbell and his brother-in-law, Michael Maina.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kathleen, his brother, Keith Campbell; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doreena and Hollis Hames; sister-in-law, Virginia Maina, and many adoring nieces and nephews.

Kent enlisted in the US Navy in 1956 where he served in several roles, including as a forensic photographer. Upon his discharge, he began his work in advertising photography in New York City. He later moved to Rochester, where he owned and operated Campbell Photography, Inc with his wife, for many decades. Together they ran their commercial advertising and photography studio serving ad agencies and corporations in the Rochester area, as well as Conrail. He was a long-time member and past president of the Greater Rochester Professional Photographers, as well as a member of the Professional Photographers Society of New York.

Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday, November 17th from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
