Eric and I were freshman year roommates at Chapman and Eric was one of my first friends I had. Eric was a kind soul and always tried to share good moments and laughs with me in our fraternity, or just hanging out in our dorm room. We were able to bond in both of us being from the East coast and traveling so far for school. He made my transition to college life easier and fun and I’m happy I got to share time on this earth with him. Eric was a true and loyal friend and I’ll never forget him.

Eric was always a great friend to me. It was always nice when he would knock on the door in the evening, and we would throw the baseball around and talk. There are a lot of other memories, but that’s something that sticks with me.
He called Jon and I a few months ago, and we hadn’t talked in a while, but it just felt like old times. He was excited about the idea of coming to Buffalo in the winter, where we could all go to a Bills game together.
Eric was a big part of my life, and I’m really thankful that he was my friend.

Thanks for sharing your memory, Patrick. Eric always asked about you. He was fond of the time spent with you and Jon.

My heart hurts for my sister and niece Lauren and her dad, Dan. Eric was loved by many. He will be missed dearly but always remembered. Love you always.

Corinne, Dan, and Lauren,
Eric was such a big part our daily life for years. The first time we met, Eric was a toddler, he and Corinne were peaking around the backyard shed to see the boys playing in the sandbox. From that point on, Eric, Jon and Patrick literally grew up together. We felt like we had a third son! From playing wiffle ball & football in the yard, to soccer practice for Eric and Jon, to sledding at Harris Hill, ski trips together (most memorable was Greek Peak!), RIT hockey games, annual Halloween haunted houses in your garage, camping in the Adirondacks, the list goes on and on. Most recently David and I were happy to see Eric when he came home from California. He looked great and was excited about his new job. He asked about Jon and Patrick; it was sweet the way he made it a point to come over and talk to us. We said it then, Eric had a great future ahead of him.
Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss, we’re grateful for a lifetime of memories, but our hearts are broken too.
With much love, Nancy & David

Nancy & David,
Eric enjoyed all of the time he spent with your family. Thanks for making special memories for Eric: squirt guns at Memorial Day parade, opening pool, haunted hayride, picnics, camping, baseball, game nights and so many other fun memories.
