Obituary of Ann Marie Gatesman

Penfield- February 4, 2023 at the age of 83. Ann is predeceased by her sister, Sue Cornelius. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frederick; children, Ann (Dwayne) Foley, Andy (Kristine) Gatesman, Mary (Chuck) Tanevich, Alice Nikolaou, Kathy (Scott) Smith, and Jenni (Brian) Shevlin; 19 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson; brother-in-law, Douglas Cornelius and sister-in-law Katherine Marchetti. Ann was active in her community and served as President of the Woodside Garden Club, Assistant Manager of The Century Club, and past member of the American Association of University Women. Ann enjoyed serving her church. She was an avid quilter and found joy in baking, cooking and traveling. She was an avid member of her knitting club and book club.  

Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her 19 grandchildren and latest great grandson.

Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street, East Rochester from 4pm-7pm. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday February 8, 2023 St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road Penfield at 11am. Interment will be private at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Albion NY. Donations may be made to Shephard Home, 1959 Five Mile Line Road Penfield NY 14526.
