Anne Marie (“Mrs. Gatesman” to me) was a neighbor of ours growing up on Clardale Drive. I remember her clearly as an energetic, cheerful and kind woman. I know my mom thought the world of her. I just recently made Anne’s recipe for brown bread, which she would bake and share with us. Delicious. Anne was a beautiful example of a great neighbor. This news is so painful as I had no idea Ann was this close to death the last time I saw her. She was a beloved member of Tots to Teens Mothers' Club for many years, and we will all miss her smiling face! God keep you in the palm of his hand, and rest in peace, dear friend!

Ann was a faithful parishioner Saint Joseph's Church Penfield and loved by all who knew her. Ann always had a big smile for everyone and a sparkle in her eyes. Ann and Fred participated small Bible studies. I will miss her. God bless you, Ann.

We were neighbors to the Gatesman family when they lived on Clardale Drive in Greece. I babysat for Ann & Fred’s children when I was in high school, and their daughter babysat for my own children when she was in high school. Ann was always kind and smiling - shared some wonderful books with my mother and me. They were wonderful neighbors! My heartfelt condolences to Fred and to Ann’s children and grandchildren! I went to Mother of Sorrows with (daughter) Ann and first knew Mrs Gatesman through my friendship with Ann, and, then she was my Girl Scout mother, and, over the years, through Mother of Sorrows Parish and the Century Club. She was one of the sweetest and kindest women I ever knew and loved her family and all people. She always cared and always made people feel comfortable and welcomed. The Minunni family is sending love to all. We are so grateful to have known Mrs. Gatesman for many years. Our times at Junius Ponds brought us laughter and smiles. The impromptu plays, fishing, can lid chains and that lake slide. Our family friendship grew for years as the ‘kids’ became adults. We were certainly blessed to have our catch up lunch date recently. Prayers to all with love.
