I will always remember Dick with great fondness. He was incredibly supportive in all of my endeavors in Fairport and in Rochester. I recall so many wonderful phone conversations with Dick with his enthusiasm for all things that are good for kids. Dick was a treasure and will be sorely missed

Dick was truly a community treasure. He was involved in so many different projects and organizations that I would feel foolish trying to list them all. He was a man that believed in giving back to his community. Perinton/Fairport is a better place because he lived here. He loved our community almost as much as his family. I have added pictures of him being presented with two of his many awards for all his work.
He was the Monroe County Community Youth Advocate of the Year in 2013 and the New York State Recreation and Parks Association recognized him for all his hard work in 2018.
A huge thank you to his family (of whom he was so proud) for sharing him with us all!!
On top of all that you couldn’t ask for a better friend.
He will be missed ❤️

Dick and I have been friends for over 50 years, and he was best man at my wedding. We worked together at IBM for about 25 years. Dick probably had the best collection of old outdated IBM manuals I ever saw. I was always razzing him about which warehouse he stored them in. We made many joint IBM presentations together. He was always long winded and ran over into my time slot. I would try to cut him off but with no success. We had a lot of fun together and I shall miss him.

Dick was our wonderful friend and neighbor for nearly 40 years. He was the "Mayor" of the Kings Lacey Way neighborhood.
Dick had a long and productive retirement and he was easily the busiest retired person I have ever know. During his three decades of retirement, Dick quietly and faithfully served the Fairport community in a variety of causes. His enthusiasm was infectious and he used his skills of persuasion to recruit others to assist in his many worthwhile causes, including me.
Dick was active and present right up to end of his wonderful life, as it should be. He will be greatly missed and remembered by all. May Dick's memory continue to be a blessing to his family, friends and the entire Fairport community!

Dick has been our next door neighbor for 46 years. He was always there for a friendly conversation, reached out new neighbors, kept his bird feeders full, carefully cut up sticks that fell from his trees and spoke to us about happenings here in Perinton. He was especially proud of the Amphitheater at the Perinton Rec Center. For many years he played a role in making sure there was a slate of good performances each Sunday Summer Evening. The neighborhood will not be the same without Dick, and we will miss him.
