I was only able to know Colleen for a short time after being hired in the District Office in Webster CSD. What I picked up from her in that short time was her passion for helping students, her love for her colleagues and the work family that she had built. I was so lucky to have known her in that short time, and I will miss her lighting up a room and spreading her knowledge and LOVE! Thinking of Colleens family, and I will always think of her whenever I see purple now- she will be missed dearly!

I've had the privilege of working with Colleen in different capacities from Code of Conduct work to introducing DEI work, and in every instance she brought a calm sense of direction while teaching us all about restorative practices, empathy and the language rooted throughout. Her sense of compassion and commitment to what is best for children was gentle and steadfast. She will be sorely missed. My most sincere sympathies to her family.

I had the pleasure of learning from Colleen in the first year of my teaching career. She was a wonderful mentor while I worked as her paraprofessional and I would not be the educator I am today without her guidance. I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with your family. ~Ashley

To Colleen’s family,
I had the special honor of being her secretary for many years. We had a special bond; she knew I would take care of her in our work environment. We had mutual trust and understanding. She had such a good heart. May God bless you all with helping to find peace and continue on with such a tragic loss. I have and will continue to miss her.
