I worked with Joe in the Records Office of MCSO for a few years right before he retired. He was an interesting man and I've often wondered how he was doing. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

Reta - Please know that Linda and I are so sorry that Joe has passed on. Though he is gone he will never be forgotten. The majority of my golfing memories at SBHGC include Joe. What a competitor and winner he was! I also remember Joe as a friend. Though I have not been able to golf myself in recent years, Joe called on a regular basis just to maintain our friendship. So, old friend, rest in peace and perhaps we'll meet again. I hope it would be on a beautiful golf course on a beautiful day! Eric and Linda Collier

Reta: It is with heavy hearts that Barbara and I say good bye to a long time friend and golfing buddy. Many wonderful times were spent both on and off the golf course at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club. A true gentleman in every respect and we are truly grateful to have known him for over 38 years. He will be sadly missed. Barb and Marshal Valore

I worked with Joe for several years at the sheriff's office. He was always a class act and very helpful with any concerns in the records division. Corporal Heslor was well respected by everyone and his outgoing and friendly personality will always be remembered. God Bless Joe and the Heslor family.

Reta, Jackie and I send our sincere condolences. Joe was one of the first people we met when I started working at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club in 1980 and has remained a true friend to this day. He and I played in many Pro-Am golf tournaments together and it was always a pleasure being with him both on and off the golf course. I honestly believe I have never known a person as friendly, helpful, truthful, generous, and concerned for his fellow man, May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Paul and Jackie Carter
