Gerry and Linda were my "second parents" as John and I grew up together. When he got in trouble, they were quickly on to phone to my parents. When John, Tom and I formed a band, and would spend long hours creating what Gerry surely would characterize as "noise pollution" he would advise us "You need to add a little western twang!" We would shake our heads and say, "Um...nooooooooo."
