Obituary of Rose Anne Welch

Rose Ann Welch passed away on June 1, 2022 at age 72. Predeceased by parents, Austin and Freida Welch; sister, Rosemary Welch; grandson, Jack Navin. Rose is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 20 years, Chuck Sparnecht; children, Kenneth (Cathrine Martin) Strickland, Benjamin (Diana Hughes) Strickland, Michael Sparnecht, Kathryn (Thomas) Navin; grandchildren, Cooper and Emma Navin; sisters, Pat Cliber, Jean (Tom) Baxter; several nieces and nephews. Rose was an art teacher who spent most of her career at Penfield schools. She was an amazing and accomplished artist who inspired many. Rose was an active and loving member of First Baptist Church of Rochester.

Family and friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Rd., Penfield, Friday, June 17, 5-7 PM. Rose's Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 18 10:30 AM  at First Baptist Church of Rochester, 175 Allens Creek Road, Rochester, NY 14618. Interment private.
