Obituary of Scott N. Brownell

Penfield-

Scott Brownell lived a full life of love and kindness towards everyone he met. He was always the brightest personality in every room. He passed away May 6, 2022, with his family at his side. Because of this loss, the world for all that knew him feels a bit dimmer. His life was his family and friends. He was married to the love of his life, Nancy Brownell, for 43 years. He was everything you could ever want of a father to his 2 children, Jason and Ashley. He leaves 2 grandchildren, Kevin and Ellison, that made him smile every single day. He leaves behind countless friends that all knew the light he brought to their lives. Lifelong childhood friends, Co workers through his 40 years at Kodak, and his buddies that fished with him, hunted with him and loved the Buffalo Bills. His life was lived in full because he made all of our hearts full. Our world may feel dimmer, but we will always carry the light he brought us every day.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery in Penfield at 11 am followed by a memorial service at Penfield Presbyterian Church.
