Please accept my condolences. Scott and I worked at.EW Edwards in the early 70s, we went to the watkins glen summer jam together. When I moved out of the area, I lost touch, but always remembered his good humor and kind ways. Peace from Smitty (Michael Smith).

I worked with Scott on many projects throughout the years at Kodak. He was always professional, respectful and it was a pleasure to be his friend. You always knew when Scott was there because the room would always get brighter! I'm sad to see him leave us.

Sending love and prayers to the whole Brownell family. Such fond memories of spending time with Scott and Nancy in earlier days. In later times, although we didn't see eachother often, Scott's booming voice greeting me and his huge bear hug was so warm and welcoming that it was always easy to reconnect. What a wonderfully warm and kind man who always had "I love my family" smile written all over his face. An honor to know him.

I was a co-worked with Scott and as it has been stated already, his voice brings many funny memories. When we worked together on a project I used to just start humming a song and then Scott would just pick it up and start singing the song. People would always ask me " why do you do this, you know he's going to start singing". I did it because it was fun to watch Scott and the fact he couldn't stop himself from picking up the tune and start singing it. He would have a big smile on his face as he enjoyed making others have some fun while working.
I also played volleyball with Scott at Hot Shots for quite a few years. He was a very competitive player on the court and he put together a team that had fun. Scott really loved playing volleyball as you could see it come out in his play. It was after the match that we would sit together and have a pitcher, or two, of his favorite beer Scotch Ale and just talk about life.
Life for many will be different now that he's not with us anymore, but we can thank Scott and hold close the special memories he gave us all.
Rest in Peace Scott.

I think Scott's voice is still echoing in the halls and walls of B101. His booming voice lifted hearts and spirits. And if you wanted honesty talk to Scott.
Don't know how it started but anytime Scott and I saw each other we would stop, lean back, look up, and shout each other's name! After he retired and I would see him he always had a big bear hug.
Echoing Gary Judd's sentiments, those days we think will never end do. As we age we get reminded of that more often.
We can keep Scott's legacy going by living everyday to the full.
Rest in Peace my friend!

While not related, Scott and I shared the same last name and he sat behind me in home room and other classes from 7th grade through high school. He was always so funny and full of life even at that age. I am so sorry for your loss!

I knew Scott for many years. We went to High School together. We both went to Alfred State College. We worked together for years at Eastman Kodak & ITT. We eventually retired from Exelus on the same day. I was Scott's Supervisor & Manager for many years. I also knew Nancy from Kodak. Scott was a great guy who is now with Jesus Christ :)

Very sorry for your loss. I’m glad I had the chance to know Scott while we worked together. Great guy who was fun to be around. Hardly a week goes by when I don’t hear him in my head reminding me (in that awesome voice of his) about the importance of proper planning. :-) I know I’ll continue to hear him for years to come and it will always bring a smile to my face. I’m sure his memory will bring smiles to LOTS of faces.

My sincerest condolences to Scott's entire family. This loss is utterly heartbreaking. I have known Scott my entire life, he was my father's friend from childhood. To know Scott is to love Scott. He could light up an entire room with his presence alone. He was one of the kindest, genuine human beings I have ever met, so full of love and warmth. Scott will be missed dearly by so many. This world has lost someone truly special. I pray everyone that Scott touched, finds comfort in their memories. I know for certain I will remember his huge bear hugs, endless laughter and smiles. May he forever rest in peace. And may his family feel his love as he watches over them always.

With my hand over my heart I share great sadness with Scott's entire family. One of my best friends has passed and once again I am reminded that these days that we"think will never end"...will, and now I've learned how quickly"''those days ended" but they are now many great memories. Over the decades that I have known Scott we've worked, celebrated, fished, hunted, shared meals and hopes and dreams and a lot of laughter. One could not ask for a better friend or companion and I will miss him dearly.May God keep him close and may he rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences to Scott's family. I worked with Scott for several years at Kodak, prior to my retirement in 2008. He was knowledgeable of the job, friendly and outgoing, and had quite a sense of humor. I'm sure that he will be missed, and may he rest in peace.

Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance..... the 7 P's Scott always preached.....until we forgot to make sure the big fork truck had a full Propane tank on shipping day. Propane became the 8th P! Dave Lees, Scott and I used to sing Christmas carols in Area 100, around the Holidays. I can still hear his booming voice. Rest in peace Scotty! Scott was a Euchre player....let's raise a trump card and a drink in his honor!
