I will miss seeing you every week and that sweet infectious smile. I know it might sound silly but crickets came in today and I was going to give you a call. Then it hit me, again, that you wouldn't be coming in anymore and I couldn't hold back the tears. Wish I would have known and could have helped. It's so sad that the ones with the biggest hearts and smiles are the ones in pain, thinking they aren't loved and have no one to turn to. Reality being they have a whole village of people that love and care for them. My heart goes out to all your family and friends that are missing that smile right now. Rest easy Josh, no more pain.

I am going to miss my hugs from Josh. Whenever we needed a hug, we were there for each other. He also made me laugh especially when he was with his uncle Ken. Working with Josh was something I looked forward to. I loved it when he talked about his reptiles. You could tell how much he loved them. I am sending love and hugs to his family. Carol and family, we are so profoundly sorry for your loss of your beautiful son Josh. Josh always went out of his way to be kind and helpful to my Kim. Kim spoke about Josh a lot with so much love. Whenever I just showed up at Cobblestone, if Josh saw me, he immediately would say I’ll go get Kim for you. To the family of Josh, Josh was truly a loving young man. He shared his love for athletes of all ages and abilities here at the Gymnastics Training Center of Rochester. He learned so much on his journey. He cared so much for our Special Athletes. He traveled to competitions with them. He shared his joy of life with all who new him. He will be missed by the many who knew and loved him. We are sad to say that he is gone, yet happy that he will be in Peace. May God Bless you all! Peace be with you at this difficult time. Joshua was an amazing soul who brought and spread joy around the gym always. He carried a great work ethic and had much determination which many admired. Something specific I loved above Josh is he didn’t want to be better than everyone (he never showed off) he helped everyone be better. Josh was so caring and had so much to offer, we can’t focus on the fact that he lost his battle…we can focus on the fact that while fighting his battle he kept a smile on his face everyday at the gym spreading love and joy to everyone. We love you Josh and wish we could tell you that one last time.
