What a beautiful Soul she was and a very dear friend while attending RIT. She was a very good artist and serious about working in the art world. Although we lost touch for a number of years, I would think of her from time to time as I look a the pottery she made for me that to this day is in a flower bed in my home. I know she found the love of her life in Lee and loved her four children. On our wedding day in May of 1963, she had Lee send a telegram to the old Spring House on Monroe Ave., apologizing for not being at our wedding as she had just given birth to their first child. I had never received a telegram in my life and knowing Joanna as she was known at RIT made it important why she had missed attending out wedding and reception. Ever thoughtful of other people first. I' m sure as most people are the regrets that in life, had wished I had stayed in touch with her all those years after RIT.. even though we myself and 4 sons would visit her at their home only about 10 minutes away. Last time I saw her was at Rite-Aid in Panorama Plaza with Lee. Made you rest in peace dear Joanna and I know her husband Lee and four children and grand children will miss her very much. I thank the Lord I met her at RIT, as she was the sweetest girl in our class, never saying a bad thing about anyone. God Bless and thank you God for putting her in my path in this life. Lee knows he found a an exceptional young woman to be his wife and mother. With live and gratitude for knowing you dear Joanna. Yvonne Stinson Cain
