Obituary of Mary Ann Wallace
Mary Ann Wallace of Penfield passed away February 1, 2021 from Covid-19. She was 83 years old, born on Flag Day, June 14, 1937, to Edward and Florence Werner. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, John J. Wallace. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, Michael (Melissa) Wallace, James (Suzanne) Wallace and Suzanne (Matthew) McSain; her 10 treasured grandchildren, Cameron (Justina), Trevor, Bethany (Dan), Spencer, Emily (Stephen), Sean (Maggie), Logan, William, Avery & Addison; and the newest addition to the Wallace Clan, great-grandson Beau who she was looking forward to meeting when "it is safe again"; along with her sisters-in-law, Sarah Wallace Bruzzo (Aldo) and June Werner and a host of beloved nieces and nephews, including her special niece, Lynnie.
Mary Ann was a 1955 graduate of Our Lady of Mercy High School and a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She worked as a legal secretary for her professional life and in her younger years enjoyed her wonderful neighbors on Parkwood Lane, spending time at the family cottage in Canada, and making the most awesome strawberry jam, deviled eggs, and her famous stuffing, which was second to none. More recently she enjoyed her new friends at the Legacy at Willow Ponds and took great pleasure in making craft jewelry for them and helping them shop online.
Services were held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation to Rescued Treasures Pet Adoption where she rescued her beloved dog, Jovi.
