Dave and I were the best of friends in RIT. I am absolutely devastated to hear of Dave passing away. I remember Dave so well, he always spoke of Sandy so fondly, we had the best of times at RIT. We both graduated from RIT in 1976. Our friends were Bill Phelan and Don, can't remember his last name. I used to pick up Dave for classes at RIT....OMG, he's so young, is he really gone? Sandy, do you remember me? Cathy Chernavsky, I went to New Years Eve party with you and Dave, and my husband/boyfriend at that time, Joe. We had the BEST time at that party house. Lots of love and compassion, Cathy

To Sandy and Family,
Sorry for these belated condolences. I knew Dave well in high school and somewhat knew of him when he attended St Stan's. He had a quick wit, friendly demeanor and an uplifting spirit always. He would call me "LaBueski" in order to make me part Polish, to which he was so proud of his heritage. A true gentleman in every way and always respectful of the rights and dignity of all people. A special place in heaven for Dave I am sure. He embodied what our faith calls upon to be -- a follower of Jesus. God Bless All.

Our sincere condolences to the Kolupski family. If it was happening at St. Joes, Dave and Sandy were there! They made every event fun - even cleaning and painting at school became a party! One of the truly "nice guys" of the world.

I grew up with Dave. Went to St. Stanislaus and Kearney together. Many good times. He was a great friend and always a jokester. He really enjoyed his 68 Camaro and his dad’s 67 camaro ragtop. Dave had allergies and I still remember Back in high school Sandy hiding ragweed or something in notes that he’d carry in his shirt pocket and wondering why he was sneezing so much! Sorry we lost touch over the years but I’ll always have the memories.

We will never forget our first stop to see Darth Vader/Storm Trooper standing perfectly still for hours each Halloween. You made us laugh all the time Dave. Luca loved flying his remote airplane with you & talking to you about cars. I always loved to run into you when I was walking Rocco to see what progress had been made in getting Megan to move back to Rochester & then seeing how happy you were when she moved back. My mom, Mary Ann has great memories of you & your warm smile. Frank & I have wonderful memories from when our home was first built & making us feel welcome in the neighborhood. You will never be forgotten.

Some of my favorite summer memories are spending time at the lake with the family. Dave was always so much fun. Over the years I wish I could have seen him more but I always looked forward to seeing him when I visited NY. I always knew I was in for a good time and a good laugh as Dave , Sandy , Doreen , and my dad would all start up with their jokes! I will miss Dave very much and send my love to Sandy , Meg and Andrew and the entire family.
With love and sympathy,
Gretchen XOXO

Dear Sandy and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing and your great loss!
I’m sure that if anyone looked up “great guys” in a dictionary, Dave’s smiling face would be the first example.
Love and Peace to you all.

Goodbye friend (for now) who was a wonderful husband to my sweet friend, Sandy. He loved his family and life with such zest and at least to me, showed little to no negativity. One who always made others laugh with a God given gift to make everyone smile. One of those people that takes a little piece of your heart with them when they leave but you know will give it back when we are all together one day in the love and warmth of eternity. You are and will be missed so much. Betty & Chris Burke

So I have dreaded having to write this, Growing up with Dave was like having the best buddy around all the time. Dave was like having a comic around all the time. We met through the car business and it seems we did a lot together throughout the years. Meet many of his great family and He would always be with Sandy – high school sweethearts (that’s something you don’t see much anymore) As I recall Many moons ago we drove a Corvette to the California Brew House one night - neither one of us drank much but just wanted to show off the car as Sandy had gone out of town, Dave was worrying all night about how to get to the airport when Sandy Came home. So we never got to show off the car much and left breaking all the land speed records on the way to the airport. When I saw Dave Light up that night when Sandy arrived in the parking lot. I knew they would be boundless & great together, I met Barb Dave and Sandy Got married the year before us and Dave would be the life of the party wherever you went, So I asked him to be my best man and as usual he did a great job clowning around at every opportunity. I introduced him to family as a Polish Mob Boss and they believed it. Sandy and Barb would just laugh at Dave & Paul being silly again. We both went to work and had kids. One day I found Dave in the middle of Blossom Rd with the Front end loader Broke down. As I walked up I realized Dave was trying to fix it and his fingers were froze to the bone – we worked together and voila. Life in the fast lane just happens and before you know it, I would hear one of my guys having an argument on the phone with someone that wanted the Summer Air Let Out of their Tires and the Winter Air put in. I would just grab the phone and start laughing “OK Dave what do you want” He would love to terrorize the new guys. In closing I hope Heaven is ready for Dave! I know we will all miss him for sure. I am happy in thinking about the emissary we have sent on ahead. He is probably pranking someone he knows up there right now!

Dear Sandy and Family, My family and i are so very sorry to here about the passing of Dave, your beloved Husband/Father/Grandfather/Brother/Brother in-law/ Uncle and Friend. I remember that Dave was always the life of the PARTY! and it did not matter who's party it was. Dave was always young at HEART. Everyone always had a great time with Dave. So remember all the great times that you had with him, and there were a lot of them, and he will LIVE on in your HEARTS AND MINDS FOREVER. GOD NEEDED A SPECIAL ANGEL IN HEAVEN WITH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. Try not to be sad in the way he died. But be joyful in the way he LIVED HIS LIFE. He will never be FORGOTTEN. Love Alex and Cheryl DiAntonio and Family
