Ted was one of our outstanding students in the School of Business and Economics at SUNY Plattsburgh, and my heart goes out to Ted’s family and friends. As one of Ted’s marketing professors, I remember that he was an interesting person with many outside interests and hobbies in addition to his studies, especially fishing! Ted was a such a nice young man, a gentleman. My condolences to you as you grieve the loss of this beautiful soul. He is fondly remembered by us at SUNY Plattsburgh. Sincerely, Dr. Nancy Church

Remember meeting Ted at our offices in July of 2017 when we first interviewed him for Sales Representative in Western New York, we had interviewed a number of people for that position but we settled on Ted the day we met him, he was just a really easy going guy with a good background very pleasant to talk to and we all took to him straight away. Over the past three years Ted has been a pleasure to work with and was highly thought of by everyone in the company. A really sad day when the news came and my deepest condolences go out to his family and all his relatives. He will be sorely missed and has left us way to soon..

Ted was a great friend and work colleague that I got to know very well over the year I knew him, it was the start of a great friendship that has been cut short. I have recently moved to America from Ireland over a year ago and Ted had helped ease my transition here. He gave me a taste of his rural American lifestyle of country music, trucks and NASCAR, something many Irish don’t experience. We were both from very different backgrounds, from different countries but shared similar interests. We had many good memories like my first NASCAR race at Pocono Raceway (July 2019) but one of my fondest memories was our recent trip to Miami (January 2020) which was spontaneously booked but turned out to be SuperBowl weekend. That weekend we rented a corvette and I can remember the smile on each other’s face when we fired it up for the first time. We bought last minute tickets to Gronk’s Beach Party and that was the highlight of our trip, he’s was always up for the a good time and that’s what we had. Rest in Peace Ted!

Ted arrived at the Emerald Christmas party in December with the Lowes Racing truck as a present for our 2 year old son Adam. I don't know of many other 20 something year old guys who be so thoughtful and generous, but that's the kind of guy Ted was. We will miss him every day. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Love Adam, Moira and Brian

I have never met Teddy but work with Don. Don would talk so highly of both of his children. He would show pictures of what Teddy was working on and you could see the look on his face of how proud he is. I am so deeply sorry to hear about Teddy and may your hearts heal in time. I am praying for you all.

I remember Teddy as a sweet young man who was always unwavering polite and thoughtful. He loved his family and friends and appreciated them. In recent years he celebrated Mother's Day by planting flowers along the walkway to brighten and beautify his Mom's house for her. I last saw Teddy running a race in honor of his cousin, unselfishly giving up his time and energy to pay tribute and join forces with his family as a show of solidarity and remembrance. He was like that...kind and thoughtful. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Ted , From the day I first met him he impressed me . His courage , ambition and vision stood out right away . He was ready to try or do anything ,to get the job done and be the best . Ted left an impression where ever he went ,with his customers ,suppliers and fellow workers ,his sincerity always shined through. He was hard working and always first to volunteer and jump in and get it done . I will never forget him

I got to know Ted at Watkins Glen. He camped beside us and the first year we knew him he was out carousing around and we loaded his sleeping bag with a piece of wood with a chunk of kielbasa sticking out of a knothole. Wished I still had pic. He also drove us down the midway at the Glen after hours. How he got away with that one I don’t know. Last year Ted, Don , and I went to the Cat display and ran the trackhoe around the course. We had a lot of fun at the Glen and kept in touch through out the year. I have a son about his age and as a parent can’t begin to imagine the heartache that his parents are experiencing right now. May God bless your family. RIP Ted.

Met Ted a few summers back. We were able to hangout before parting ways, with me returning to college and him to hunting trips. But during that short time, we had some fun memories.
I would mention that I wanted to go fishing, and he would go through the hassle of getting the boat into the water (as if it wasn’t a pain to basically do all by himself). Then him going through all of that, only to spend the entire time working on the motor, while I fished. One time while trying to fix it, he got a deep cut on his arm, wrapped it in a dirty oil rag (?!), and proceeded to be more concerned about the boat’s tan carpet being stained. Safe to say, Ted was a man’s man. There’s times where I randomly think of some of the memories, and still get a laugh out of them. He had a unapologetically himself, genuineness that is rare to find.
I hope there’s good hunting and fishing, cold beer, Ford trucks and fast cars. Rest easy Ted.

Ted, you were one of my dearest friends - our personalities meshed and we were able to feed off each other resulting in many laughs. You were always able to push me out of my comfort zone, like in 2016 when we snuck into the pits of Watkins Glen. We managed to get a couple pictures before the guards came and escorted us out. It is very painful to know that you aren’t with us anymore. I consider myself lucky to have been able to call you my friend all these years. It feels as if we have lived two lifetimes worth of memories with all the shenanigans we pulled, but I take comfort in the fact that I have all these shared experiences to remember you by.

Throughout our lives we take on many personas...sibling, parent, friend, mentor, etc. One of the most precious in my lifetime has been Coach. 19 youth sports teams in all, Teddy was with me from the beginning. Along with my son Steve Rock and Sam Marollo the Penfield Orioles began day one in Instructional League, and the trio stayed as teammates under my coaching for 7 more years, and instilled a love for coaching I maintain to this day. The picture of our commemorative mug is attached, weathered and worn through the years, the satisfaction I received from those years rests deeply within my soul. That along with beginning the creation of life-long friendships between some of the Litttle League dads- Don, Dan, and myself. Thanks Teddy!
Listening to Don brag on and on and on about his son over the years was just "expected"? Teddy was constantly embarking on new adventures, hitting new plateaus, constantly with another outrageous story one after the next, each one simply exemplary of Teddy's thirst for life, out-of-the-box thinking, beautifully outrageous ideas...with one common theme- Teddy somehow got it done. He was non-stop, even through him "holding court" with Don, Dan and me in the other picture. Thanks Teddy!!
Robbed of so much at such a young age, one thing that disease can never take away from any of us, I can firmly say that my life is better having had Teddy in it, and those precious memories will never ever be taken away. Thanks Teddy!!!
