Obituary of David L. Croop

David LaFrance Croop passed away on April 6, 2020 at the age of 77. David was predeceased by his parents, A. Vernon and Florence; his brother, George; his sister and brother-in-law; Marilyn and Ross Schillaci; and his son, David S. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Marilyn; children Stephanie (Todd) Tongue, Lindsy (Matt) Bennage, and Chris (Larissa) Croop; grandchildren Olivia, Emilia, Elizabeth, Daphne, Mark, Natalie, Megan, and Matthew; many nieces and nephews. David retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield after 27 years. He then started his own consulting company, Croop-LaFrance, and retired again four years ago. David was a true gentleman with a generous, kind heart and a love of animals. Most days you could find him outside on his Kubota. Above all else he cherished his family and many friends.
