Patricia Ann St.Martin passed away peacefully on March 23, 2020 at age 71, after a prolonged illness. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Sena MacClave. Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, John T. "Jack" St.Martin, Jr.; her five children, John III (Corinne), Kathleen (Tim) Mondello, Kevin (Dawn) and their son, her only grandchild Joseph, Timothy, and Michael. Pat is also survived by cousins and nephews and nieces. Pat was born and raised in Bronx, NY, where she graduated from the Academy of Mount St. Ursula, and went on to earn her B.S.N. from Hunter College in Manhattan. While working as a nurse in Hawaii, she met Jack in Honolulu, where he was serving in the U. S. Navy. They eventually relocated to Rochester, NY, where they raised their five children. Pat attended the University of Rochester School of Nursing, where she received her Master’s Degree and was awarded the Elizabeth Clinger Young Award, given to honor personal qualities of compassion, courage, and concern for others. Pat was a dedicated mother and loved her career in nursing and, later, as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Pat dedicated herself to serving her community, including volunteering at Penfield Volunteer Ambulance Service, working at St. Mary’s Hospital, Jefferson Family Medicine, and Health Care for the Homeless. Pat was also an active member of the New York State Nurse Practitioner Association. The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at Brookdale Senior Living in Pittsford, NY, for the care and compassion they provided to Pat for the past three years.
