Michael and Family,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your dear mother, Patricia. The video was beautiful - she was clearly a dog lover as am I.
May many wonderful memories bring you strength and comfort in the days ahead. A beautiful life, cut way too short, but please try to take comfort in knowing that Patricia is free of pain and suffering and resting safely in God's hands.

Jack and family,
I was deeply saddened to come across Pat's notice in the paper, as I was checking to make sure my brother's was in there. While I haven't seen you (or John, Katie and Kevin) in a very long time, I have incredibly fond memories of all of you. I watched the memorial montage and a flood of memories returned, from both the house in Ontario and your outstanding Christmas letters.
Pat was a truly incredible woman in a thousand different ways, and her ability to combine her professional and personal lives was a tremendously positive influence on me once I started my career. It was a time in history when women were just starting to flex their serious career muscles, and having a talented strong-willed lady with a wicked sense of humor as an example to follow was a gift from God. And from Pat! I wish I had taken the time to tell her while she was still with us, so I hope she hears me in my prayers.
“What is lovely never dies, but passes into another loveliness, star-dust or sea-foam, flower or winged air.” —Thomas Bailey Aldrich
With prayers of comfort,
Linda Boutwell

Dear Jack, John, Kathleen, Kevin, Timothy, & Michael,
My deepest condolences on the illness & passing of Pat. I have known, worked with, & called Pat my friend for many years. She was one of the best NPs and nurses that I have ever worked with and the world is more beautiful because she was in it caring for humanity. She was brilliant, skillful, experienced, compassionate, creative, funny, joyful, and full of energy & vitality. I admired her, loved working with her, really enjoyed her friendship, and will always remember her exuberant spirit. Pat left us too soon but contributed more in her life than almost anyone could ever accomplish. God blessed you with a wonderful wife & mother. God bless you & give you comfort.
Love, Lisa Gambino

Jack and Family -
We were so saddened to learn of Pat's recent passing.
We have so many great memories of things that we did together with the two of you, Jack -- from good times at the rink during and after our old guy hockey, to multiple tasting dinners at Laurier in Mendon, to a wonderful evening of tailgating and music courtesy of The Boss, Bruce Springsteen at Darien Lake!
Pat was a sweet, loving soul who was a friend to everyone she knew.
We sincerely hope that you can take some comfort in knowing that your friends share in your loss.
In sympathy,
Mike and Judy Weber

My deepest sympathy at this very sad time. Pat was a truly remarkable woman and left a major legacy. I had the honor and pleasure of being her advisor in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Rochester. She chose to conduct a thesis, which addressed community violence in a very meaningful and thoughtful manner. I was also most fortunate to have worked with her on the board of our regional Nurse Practitioner Association, during which time she and Karen Kaiser organized numerous excellent educational programs. Pat never said no to taking one of our students in several of her clinical positions. Her mentees truly benefited from not only her teaching, but her impressive role modeling. I will carry her in my heart as long as I live and know that she is singing with the angels.

I knew Pat through the NYS Nurse Practitioner Association. We worked on continuing education programs and called ourselves the "Party Pats". She had such a warm, kind spirit and a wonderful sense of humor.

Al and Lorraine Brazener wish to send the St Martin Family our sincere condolences. We go so far back! To the Faith Lutheran preschool where Ted, Chris, Katie all went together. So many memories of great comraderie with Pat riding the ambulance with Pat and baseball games where our kids played with your. That concession stand made a lot of money from us and there was always new friends there. John, thanks so much for helping our son Rick get a job at Ginna when he first graduated from Penn State.
We send good happy thoughts to all of you.
