Obituary of Edna S. Parmelee

Edna S. Parmelee, RN of Penfield passed away October 30, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband, Major General Harry S. Parmelee USAR whom she met on a blind date while she was in nursing school. Because nursing students could not be married, Harry and Edna had to marry secretly until she completed her education. Edna is survived by 3 children, David Parmelee, Suzanne Parmelee and Bob and Lynda Parmelee; granddaughter, Kerri Parmelee (Rean) Morse. No prior calling. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to Planned Parenthood or a charity of your in her memory.
