Terrence S. Knight posted a condolence
Wednesday, October 6, 2021
As I look back at some memories of my youth. I remember working as a security rover supervisor at a local contract security agency that's since gone out of business. I would check on guards that we had posted at Hill Haven Nursing Home in Webster. I would often check in on the residents while checking on the guards. I met Harry S. Parmalee, Major Gen, retired on one of my stops. He and I clicked instantly and would have many conversations about the military as it related to his service. I remember meeting his beloved wife and chatting with her. I drew a picture of the spaceship Challenger and presented it to the general. His wife thanked me profusely for my kind gesture. General Parmalee passed on and I moved on. I never forgot him or his loving wife. I thought of him searched his name to learn that his wife passed on as well. So, I'm sending my condolences to their loved ones. These were two phenomenal people. I never forgot them.
