Gloria Patricia Pow

Penfield - On November 26, 2018 at age 84. Gloria is predeceased by her loving husband, William Sydney; parents; brother, David Webber. She is survived by her daughters, Lindsay Pow Thorpe and Leslie Pow; grandchildren, Sean Thorpe, Melissa (Johnny) Arana, and Austin Thorpe; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Webber.

Gloria was born a coal miners daughter in Oakdale, Wales. She met the love of her life, William Sydney Pow while nursing in Bristol, England and she knew immediately he was the man of her dreams. They were married shortly after. They took a leap of faith and moved to the USA in September of 1967.

Gloria loved sports, playing lacrosse as a young girl, tennis and squash. She ran the Hawaii Marathon at age 62. Gloria was a wonderful mother, devout grandmother and great-grandmother. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life.

Services are to be held privately at the convenience of the family.
