Your mom and dad were gracious hosts. They welcomed me into their home one summer and we took the grand tour. We went to Niagra Falls, Sea World, the horse races and many other beautiful places. I felt right at home. She will be missed and Lindsay and Leslie you are in my prayers. The grand kids are also in my prayers. Love you. Aunt Sarah

Gloria, it was a pleasure visiting and listening to your many stories over & over ! And all the slang words that you remembered from your younger days in England. I feel ike i've known you for" donkey's year's" but i haven't known you for very long. I know you are in a better place and will be running marathons with you husband Sid once again ! There will never be a woman as proper as you, RIP in peace sweetie "Your handyman", Bob

Nana you will be missed dearly. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to go to New York or Hawaii every summer growing up and spending time with you. You used to read poems to me and tell me the most enduring, funny stories. I loved to hear your stories of grandad and you in England and how y’all met and married. I loved that when you came to visit us in Dallas you would go to my soccer games, go out to eat with us and how you would love to sit in the back seat with my boys. You have been so lonely since grandad passed away and you always dreamed of dying a quick peaceful death and I am so glad you died resting in bed. You meant the world to me and I will live on your legacy. I will always remember when I am older to call my grandkids and leave them voicemails and check on them. I want you to give grandad the biggest hug and kiss from me in Heaven and I want you tell him all the things I have accomplished over the last 11 years. I made you both proud in life and will continue to do so as you watch on me and smile. I love you and will miss you!

Gloria and Sid were a special couple I had the privilege of knowing as their primary care physician for many years. What a privilege. Each had the gift of spirit and charm. Together, I knew them as a dynamic running duo who loved each other and their daughters dearly. I heard so many stories —which I will never forget. They complemented one another as much as two people can, even as they (occasionally) bickered a bit about the mundane matters that arise during a visit to the doctor (like did you take your pills or not). But they were obviously quite endearingly attracted to each other. On more than one occasion I caught a glimpse of one staring, most lovingly, into the other’s eye, for acknowledgement, if not affection. Impressive for a seasoned husband and wife. I know they valued and respected each other, supported each other, and were more interested in the other’s well-being more than their own. After Sid’s death, I struggled to support Gloria in her loneliness. It never went away, despite Leslie and Lindsay’s best efforts to support her as the devoted, loving, and appreciative daughters that they are. I know they did their best to include Gloria in their lives, even as she struggled to defend her independence. But if Gloria is now back with Sid, her broken heart will be mended and she will truly rest in peace.
