Dear Carol, I am CRUSHED to just hear the news about Dick. I kept on leaving messages until the phone changed to another person, then I started searching around to find what I was not expecting to find. I loved Dick! He was truly a genuine man of such character and pride. He loved you more than anything, Pearl. I am at a loss for words, just shocked. I had planned to visit Dick today until I saw his obit in the paper. We knew each other thru carving. We always had a good time carving. We even had a project lined up with a pattern and blanks cut. Now I will have to finish without him. it won't be the same. Dick will certainly be missed. He was a good soul.

So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was one of my brother Ray's best friends, and a classmate of his. I remember him many times at our house playing cards with Ray, and his many other friends back in the day. Good memories. He was an all around good guy, that always treated Ray's little brother with respect, by saying hello, and asking how I was doing.
