Sally and Bud were wonderful friends. I remember Sally coming to work at Sibley's after that special New Years Eve party and telling me about Bud. Paul and I were already married. The four of us--2 from Sibley's and 2 engineers went out together often. Paul and I had just moved to Rochester from the midwest and Sally and Bud's friends "took us in". Later, we moved on to Ithaca, Phoenix and CA., so our friendship became long distance. Sally called us every Christmas and we visited on Gebhardt Rd. several times throughout the years. The last time was during her bird era. Those early years and all of our "beginnings"--our marriages, the children, our homes were very exciting.I will always keep those memories.
Sally and Bud loved you four children and all of your descendants enormously. We even received pictures of great grandchildren. They were proud of you and always looked forward to your time together. They would want you to miss them but to continue on with your lives, enjoying every day.
