Bernie was one the greatest innovators in the siding business and far ahead of the times in which he lived. During the boom years in the siding business from 1997 until 911 there is no doubt in my mind that he ran the finest siding crew in the U.S. and Canada. I will always consider my time working with Bernie as an honor and a challenge in bringing my game up to his level and the guys we worked with.
God is love and in the course of events I got to meet the real Bernie, he told me he loved me on two occasions and that was the love of God in him. I love you Bernie, Rest easy , friend, no demons on your heels any longer !!!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bernie!
I grew up down the street from the Williams family and was best friends with his sister, Cheri . Bernie was always like a big brother to me, but he did like to play pranks on us. Cheri and I list touch for a while, but we are back being best of friends now!
I felt closer to both Gregg and Bernie than I did my own brother. The memories I have of them are treasured! My thoughts and prayers are with you and all the Williams family!

My family could not be more sad to hear about this news. Bernie was truly the kindest dad, coach and mentor we all had growing up. He was loving and tough and respected by all of us. He brought us to red wing games, coached us at Penfield Little league, and made all of us feel like we had a second father. The funniest story that I will never forget is Bernie playing in the Penfield Little League father son game and a ball was hit deep into the outfield. Bernie chased that thing down and caught it at the fence and flipped over that darn fence. He went all out 100z% of the time. The Schiller family will always remember Bernie for his best qualities because there were so many! Bless you Williams family as you deal with this heartbreaking loss. We love you all.

Sally/Eric/Alison/Tiff,
I am very much saddened by this terrible news. Bernie had a huge heart and I will forever remember how patient and supportive he was. I have so many great memories of you all growing up in your house. Whenever I saw him in recent years he would stop and chat and it felt just like it did growing up. He was always interested in how things were going and how my family was doing. Again, such a caring person. The baseball games, fishing trips, cookouts, parties, etc, etc, were always filled with laughs when Bernie was around. I will miss him deeply!
Love,
Pat

Sally, I am so sorry for the loss of Bernie, He was a nice Older cousin. More like a big brother to my sisters and I. When his Dad passed away Bernie and Gregg would come to our house on weekends. My father would try to make up for the loss by teaching the boys to mow the lawn, change the oil in a car and things that their father would have shown them. I am sure most important to Bernie were the times he spent hunting with Dad. I still remember how happy he was when they came home from the southern tier with his first deer! He loved hunting for ducks as well, my Dad always said he had studied all the books describing the different breeds of ducks and could identify them as they flew by better than anyone! My sisters and I have many, many fond memories of our big brothers\cousins. Again our whole family feels your loss.
Colleen Park, Jim Park.
