Obituary of Timothy Joseph Scanlon

Timothy J. Scanlon of Penfield passed away July 27, 2017 at age 82. He was predeceased by his brother, John; sister, Margaret Streicher; son-in-law, Tim Merriman. Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judy; daughters, Sheila, Colleen Leibenguth, Kathleen Richardson, Nora Merriman; grandchildren, Ryan, Timothy, Ian, Brennan, Meaghan, Conor, Catherine; sister, Theresa Radel; several nieces and nephews. Timothy was an avid golfer, loved his family and his Irish heritage. The family would like to express their thanks for the care given to Timothy over the last several years by Liz and Sarah. No prior calling. Timothy's Memorial Service will be celebrated Wednesday 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association.
