Obituary of Junice M. Panick
Junice M. Panick of Fairport passed away June 20, 2017. June was a 1954 graduate of Highland Hospital School of Nursing, Flight Attendant with the Flying Tigers, Recovery nurse at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center NYC, sang with the NY Oratorio Society, performed at the Berkshire Choral Festival. June was a passionate New Yorker to the end!
Predeceased by her parents, Grace and Louie; sisters, Eleanor (William) Mechetti and Esther (Donald) Yovanoff; niece, Andrea Cangialosi; nephew, William D. Mechetti. June is survived by niece, Lynn (Tom) Milliman; nephews, Larry (Sue) Yovanoff, Jim (Eileen) Yovanoff; nephew-in-law, Tony Cangialosi; niece-in-law, Barbara Mechetti; great niece, Shannon (James) McDaniel; great nephews, David Cangialosi, Michael (Sue) and Anthony (Jessica) Mechetti; several great-great nieces and nephews; dear friends Audrey Wolf and Erika Eraw; devoted friend and caretaker, Rafael Polanco; fellow nurses, traveling and singing buddies.
No prior calling. Junice's Memorial Service will be held Monday 11 AM in All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford where Burial will follow. Those wishing may direct donations to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
