I had the opportunity to know Kirk over the past 9 years that I have worked for the VA. I am saddened by the loss of this kind and gentle man who had a smile and a laugh for everybody he met. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I met Kirk 5 years ago when I started at the VA and have since considered him a friend. Always looked forward our morning chats. Kirk always talked about his beautiful daughter and couldn't wait to move close to her. Kirk was a great friend, a loving person and an all around great guy. He will be truly missed by many and his kind words and big smile will never be forgotten. May you Rest In Peace my friend.
