Phil & Joette - I am so sad for your loss. Faith, prayers, and love will help you treasure your memories. The following poem has helped me heal. God Bless
God’s Lent Child
"I'll lend you for a little while
A child of mine" God said -
For you to love the while he lives
and mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven years
or forty two or three
but will you, till I call him back,
take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you
and, should his stay be brief,
you'll have his nicest memories
as solace for his grief.
I cannot promise he will stay,
since all from earth return
but, there are lessons taught below,
I want this child to learn.
I've looked the whole world over,
in my search for teachers true,
and from the things that crowd life's lane
I have chosen you.
Now will you give him all your love,
nor think the labour vain,
nor hate me when I come to take
this lent child back again?
I fancied that I heard them say,
"Dear Lord Thy Will Be Done"
for all the joys thy child will bring
the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness,
we'll love him while we may,
and for the happiness we've known
forever grateful stay.
But, should thy Angels call for him
much sooner than we planned,
we'll brave the grief that comes
and try to understand.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Ann Marie. I had the pleasure of working with her at Rochester Midland during the time of her wedding and the birth of her dear Max. She was one of the most beautiful people, inside and out, that I have ever known. Her energetic spirit lifted us all everyday. She was such a professional and always eager to learn new procedures and assist in any way. I know that nothing can ease your pain right now but know that your sorrow and loss are shared by others. I will always remember her beautiful smile and great sense of humor. I think we used to shock some of our team with our banter sometimes but it makes me smile to just think about it. God bless you all as you go forward without her. Know that you now have your own special guardian angel watching over you. I know one thing for sure. She has them smiling in heaven as only she can.
Sincerely,
Sharon Frost

I have known Ann since she was about 11 or 12, and also attended her wedding. I remember her outgoing personality, and the way she made me feel welcome at their home when I first met her. I am deeply saddened by her passing. My sincere condolences to all of the Devon family.
