Obituary of Helen M. Gillen

Helen M. (Lipka) Gillen of Brighton passed away June 6, 2013 at age 94, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Gillen. Helen is survived by her children, John (Mary Kay) Gillen, Cheryl Gillen and Joan (John) Conners; 6 grandchildren, Paul Jacoby (Ashley Urso), Katherine Gillen (James Finley), Lara Jacoby, Michael Gillen (Margo Price), Daniel Conners (Grace Hughes) and Sean Jacoby; brother, Leo Lipka and his dear friend, Cora Cala; and many nieces and nephews. Helen’s family would like to offer special thanks to Sandra Willis, Helen’s aide for the past 4 years. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Tuesday 5-8 PM. Helen’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11AM at St. Thomas More Church, 2617 East Avenue. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
