Obituary of Nyzere Dayveon Stanton

Nyzere Dayveon Stanton "Rooney" of Penfield, our beautiful son, passed peacefully on May 1st 2016, following a life of strength and bravery. His final days were spent with his moms by his side, as he battled a difficult illness. Nyzere's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His bright smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. Although Nyzere's diagnoses made him appear fragile, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He could spend hours playing with his favorite toys, especially the fox while smiling and dancing to the songs. He enjoyed music, staying up late, and being outdoors. He loved listening to the sounds of his brothers playing and especially crying which would make him smile and laugh. He spent summers taking walks around the neighborhood and announcing himself loudly the entire time. With Nyzere's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday, especially his contagious smile, he will forever remain in our hearts. Through his teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories and it has been a privilege to be his parents. Nyzere leaves behind many wonderful nurses, doctors, teachers, family members and friends that provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. Nyzere is survived by his loving parents, Amy and Kristy Stanton; brothers Jaycek, Daycen, and Bensyn; grandparents Jeff and Mary Stanton of Romulus NY; grandparents Robert and Elvie Wehmann of Highland NY; aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved him. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Thursday 4-7PM. Nyzere's Graveside Service will be held Friday, 11:00am in the Chapel at Oakwood Cemetery, 1975 Baird Road, Penfield.
