Obituary of William D. Sminkey

William D. Sminkey of Penfield passed away May 21, 2013 at age 73. He was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn E. Sminkey; father, Loys A. Sminkey; brother, Cmdr. Robert Sminkey. Bill is survived by his children, Debbie (Chris) MacWilliams and David (Michelle) Sminkey; grandchildren, Gabriel and Michelle MacWilliams and Lia, Courtney and Kaylee Sminkey; brother, Donald (Tamah) Sminkey; several nieces and nephews; beloved pets, Smokey and Tippy. Bill is also survived by Inge Sminkey; her son, Eric (Joy) Leinenbach and their children, Trevor, Zach and Anneliese. Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road, Friday 5-8 PM. Bill’s Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 2576 Browncroft Boulevard.
