Obituary of Sharon J. Schoenherr

Sharon (Sunny) Schoenherr, of Penfield NY, died on October 1, 2015. She was the wife of Albert H. Schoenherr for 45 years before his passing. Born in Rochester NY, she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Helen Lewis. Sunny was the loving mother of two children, Brian W. Schoenherr of Rochester NY and Jill Robin Johnen of North Kingstown RI and beloved Grammy to her cherished grandson, Joshua Lewis Johnen. Predeceased by two sisters, Mary DeSeyn and Betsy Herko, and her son-in-law, Mark S. Johnen, Sunny is survived by her sister Ann (John) Bauer of Rochester NY, brother, James Lewis, many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. She attended Rochester Business School and worked at Chapin Owen. She owned and operated The Knitting Shop in downtown Rochester, then S&W Printing Co. in Penfield NY for more than 40 years. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 12th at 1:00 pm at Faith Lutheran Church, 2576 Browncroft Blvd, Rochester NY 14625.
