Obituary of Frank J. Sprague

Frank J. "Bud" Sprague, RFD Capt. Ret. Of Penfield passed away February 29, 2012. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara. Frank is survived by his sons, James (Gail), Timothy (Kimberly) and Brian (Catherine); grandchildren, Patty Paul, David Roy, Kevin Sprague, Kelly (Marc) DiPrima, Lindsay (Matt) Schifano, Kristie Sprague, Landyn Sprague, Ryne Mongeon, Julia, Emma and Jack Sprague; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Kathleen Brown; many nieces and nephews. Frank was a third generation Rochester Firefighter whose family had combined years of service of 123 years, including 92 years of continual service. He was a World War II Army Veteran who served with the 32nd Infantry Division in New Guinea. Frank was also an avid sports fan. Friends may call Sunday 4-7 PM at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road. Frank's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 12 Noon at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Entombment, White Haven Memorial Park.
