Obituary of Eric J. Metzler

Eric J. Metzler, Esq. of Penfield passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at age 51. He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Marjorie Metzler. Eric is survived by his loving wife, Paula; beloved children, Matthew, Casey and David; sister, Lori (Craig) Popen; brothers, Daniel (Marge), Kurt (Susan), Frederick (Patricia), Stephen (Melissa); mother-in-law, Jean Casey; sister-in-law, Barbara (William) Krenzer; many nieces, nephews and cousins; secretary Judy Ross and long-time law partner, Lew Gould, Esq.; his beloved Siberian huskies, Simba & Star. He was a Section V All Star Football Player at Cardinal Mooney High School. Graduated from and played football at Wake Forest University. Graduated Franklin Pierce Law Center. He was a partner of the Chamberlain, D'Amanda, Oppenheimer & Greenfield Law Firm, Rochester, NY. Friends may call Tuesday 4-8 PM at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road. Eric's Funeral Service will be celebrated Wednesday 10 AM in All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.
