Obituary of Arthur B. Cieslak

Arthur B. Cieslak of Rochester passed away June 23, 2011 at age 90. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Mary in November 2006. Arthur is survived by his 3 children, Robert (Martha) Cieslak, Pat Halpen, Cindy Yunker; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Cieslak, Michael Cieslak, Andrew Yunker, Jeremy Yunker, Elizabeth Gage and Jennifer Walsh; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Minnie) Cieslak. Arthur was a life-long resident of Rochester, a graduate of Franklin High School and Rochester Mechanics Institute. He was a WWII US Navy Veteran. He retired after a long career as an engineer from Stromberg Carlson/General Dynamics Corp. Arthur enjoyed traveling, going to polka dances with his wife Mary, and was an avid woodworker who created many pieces of fine furniture. The family would like to thank the staff of St. John's Home, Reservoir 2, for helping Arthur through some difficult times. No prior calling. Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery, Penfield, NY.
