He is survived by his wife of 54 years, DeAnn; 3 children, Deborah (Larry) Knapp, Mark (JoanE) Karnisky and Christian (Beth) Karnisky; 6 grandchildren, Brooke, Chastain, Deanna, Tori, Chloe, Kristen; sisters, Patricia (Lynn) Brye, Kim (Ed) Mersdorf; brother, James (Doris) Karnisky; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road. Charles' Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church 43 Gebhardt Road, Penfield. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
