Obituary of John P. Schaefer

John P. Schaefer of Rochester passed away May 31, 2011 at age 79. He was predeceased by his 8-year old son, Teddy; brothers, Richard and Robert. John is survived by his beloved wife, Ann (de Laval); children, Elizabeth (Don) Hoyler, Paul (Courtney) Schaefer, Daniel (Soneil) Schaefer, David (Annmarie) Dunn, Carl Dunn, Grant (Wendy) Dunn; numerous grandchildren; brothers, Walter (Betty) Schaefer, Thomas (Anita) Schaefer; sister-in-law, Ruth Schaefer; nieces, nephews and many dear friends. John served for many years as Chief Clerk of the Monroe County Surrogate Court. A Celebration of John's life will be held Friday, June 10th at 12 Noon at the Chatterbox Club, 22 S.
