She was born in Slovakia, emigrated to Toronto, Canada and "married a Yankee" as she would say to seal her third citizenship as an American. Anna was Recognized by the White House for 40 years of volunteer service and was active in her Church Community at St. James Church. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and selfless servant of the Lord to those in need of her time and compassion. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Highland Hospital for their excellent care, friendship and guidance.
Anna's Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday 12 noon at St. James Church, 130 Brett Road, Rochester. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The School of the Holy Childhood.
