I can't believe your gone....being the oldest grandchild, and ONLY 10 yrs younger than you, I have several great memories. The huge pumpkins you use to grow were amazing!! I remember spending nights with you and Aunt Patti when you lived on Oscar St and Arvine Pk. The best memory I have is when Sara was born!!! I love my family, and life is too short not to!!! Love unconditionally!!!!

Dear Family,
While reviewing the D&C yesterday and reading about my dear friend (Tom Socci) who also passed at 52 years of age, I read the sad news of another young man had passed at only 49 years young. The picture of Mike yields a dear smile and obviously a family man who loved life. I am sorry for your loss and hope that you all have fond memories that will carry you all forward. My sympathies and heart filled condolences to all.

Mike,
I'll always remember you from the day you were born. Big smile, big blue eyes and a happy baby. You loved the outdoors and working in the garden with daddy. At 3 years old you wanted to cut the grass, we gave you the lawnmower and you went up and down the lawn with it. From there on in you loved to planted flowers and vegtables. I remember you growing huge pumkins over 60 lbs. You were so proud you took one of them to school
on the school bus and your teacher was so impressed he bought it for $5.00.
You helped daddy put the new shed together and worked with him planting a rose garden and vegtable garden in the yard. All in all you made a useful life for yourself.
You have a beautiful grandson whom you taught how to love and be happy. ... I love you and miss you terribly... Mom

Mike,
Why so young? Daddy at 51, Joey at 49 and now you at 49.You were the one I would call just to talk and catch up on the family news. The one I would call to blow off steam or complain and whine to about everything and anything. I'll miss our conversation's. You had an awesome work ethic. I remember a couple of years ago you asked me to help you drop the gas tank on your truck so you could access the fuel lines to repair a leak on top of the tank. It was realy cold, snowy and icy outside. We worked a couple hours on it. We almost had the bolts loose so we could drop the tank but you ran out of patience, you then did what you threatened to do all along. You got your air compressor out with your air chisel and went to town cutting a large hole in the bed of the truck to access the fuel line. It worked like a charm. I also remember the time when you were about 7 yrs. old riding your bike on sumner park during a rain storm. Lightning struck right next to you. It scared you so bad you jumped off your bike and ran all the way home. (we had to go and retrieve your bike). Of course I remember the time when you were about three and mom put your birthday cake in front of you on the dining room table. A few seconds later lightning struk again, outside the house, you jumped up out of the chair onto the table stepping into your cake across the table to mom. Keep hanging from trees with your chainsaw " Monkey Mikey "

Uncle Mikey,
The one memory that I always think of when I think of you was when we had our family Christmas party at that lodge and you almost beat up a bum, looking back that was really funny. I won't ever forget how you always said you'd harass any boyfriend I had, well you accomplished that one! I'll never forget you, I love and miss you Uncle Mikey. Love your Niece, Jess
